Common questions
How do I know the connection worked?
Return to Codex or Claude, start a new session, and ask what you have read recently. If AI returns your books, the connection is ready.
Why is Coreader not visible after authorization?
Restart the client or start a new session so the newly installed plugin can load, then send the verification question again.
How do I reconnect?
Remove the current Coreader connection from the client, revoke its authorization here, then run the official installation flow again and confirm it in your browser.
How do I manage access?
Open My AI to see each client, its access, and recent usage, or revoke the connection at any time.
Why is the returned book list empty?
The connection may be working, but the current Coreader account has no reading data yet. Add or sync content in the Coreader app first.
Advanced: connect the remote MCP directly
Use this only when the client cannot use plugin marketplaces. Plugin installation remains recommended because it includes the Skill, branding, and update flow.
